"I wonder where can I find the place?" the figure silently muttered, touching the red scarf worn on his neck.
As they walk around the capital, a sudden realization came to them. The capital itself was big.
They hung their head low. "They shouldn't have left me earlier but they have missions for the order. I wonder how will old man Galahalt would say about this situation I am in now?"
Comically, an imagination of mysterious figure mentioning the said person except smaller and mini in size suddenly form in his thought. The said figure hold a small paper scolding(?) them who knelt on the floor before him embarrassed.
"How could you get lost in the Escalon suddenly!? I thought you went there as a participant of last two year's [Seven Star Kings Festival] " an amused miniature version of said elderly yet strong chevalier scolded(?) them as he covered his amused smile with paper folding fan. The smile suddenly turned into a teasing type. "Would you like me to reveal that you-"
"No, not that!"
Snapping out from their thoughts of their grandfather figure in the imagination by shaking their head, the teen realizes they're on the street alley between the teleportation chamber and Blue Moon Cafe front not in the gates.
"Blue Moon Cafe?" they read the signboard.
"'When did I get into this? they looked at their covered right hand out of awe without accidents occuring when they were lost in their daze as they unconsciously chanted a spell.
"Through the stars from heavenly kingdoms floating above, opening Book of ενόραση, activate Sky King's Gaze."
The teen's soul suddenly turned into transparent astral projection as the effect of such spell made the physical body go auto-pilot controlled by body owner's will and connection along with mana flow. This spell was one of the spells used by voyagers except modified for the user itself. Unlike the other version
The spell itself was hard though; it require a lot of concentration for performing many tasks while viewing.
"I guess I'm lucky~"
If not for getting over the feeling about what happened before, they could have been gotten rusty today.
They, in a form of floating astral projection, commanded their physical body to go inside the cafe.
Dropping their hood while still in that state, revealed a white haired teen bearing adrogynous facial features. He has a pale color and emerald green eyes that hold warmth and mischief beneath it. The hair style he has, however, formed two 'curtains' all over his face as it is within the necklength whereas his longer straight hair tied down into his back by a single hair ornament.
If one were to see the teen's face, his eyes were fixated on that.
He decided to view things in preparation of what could be desribed as making a simple entrance in entering the place that he will go to, namely, the transportation hub of the capital itself after taking lunch.
He smiled a bit. Thanks to his experience from the missions he took and visits before, he was able to use
With a single flick, a lot of orbs appeared before him and he touched it while commanding his physical body to enter the cafe.
He slight smiled when everything went too bright after it 'passed' through.
(??? Years Ago – Viewing Start)
One slightly terrified seven year old child sitting on his knees did not know whether to take the familiar figure's hand or not. One figure behind the blonde adult figure had an expression of nothingness inside the undisclosed location. They were talking things that were of importance and essential.
"Are you sure he is the one? What if he is not?"
"Trust me Crealo but first the information about this child as the reincarnation of the [Primo] must be kept out to the public for a time being. Once he is awaken, we are to follow orders." the figure, then, approached the man holding the child behind relentlessly and muttered some words to his ear surprising him, releasing the child gently instead of neglect.
Kneeling at the level of a child, he said words that will make the eight year old calm down albeit. He suddenly put the child to sleep with an inject of tranquilizer.
"Once you are you, spread the cultivation like you did before." the man strainly muttered, only for the two of them to hear. "Also, if the time comes..."
As the child grow following three years, the experimental training that include assassination combined with knowledge and swordplay, nearly made the child turn into deadly emotionless drone thanks to some man. The 'missions' that the child took caused numerous unknown deaths and turmoil all over the continent making it a headlines of publications almost a week. All affected states that were affected became weakened and confused as a result much to the surprise of statesmen and military officers' reports. The cause of sabotage remain unknown.
"..." the ten year old bearing no trace of emotions in his lifeless green eyes due to the years of combat conditioning, parried the incoming attack with his magically reinforced right hand by grapping the blade tightly to a point the attacker unable to move his right arm. Unknown to him, he was slightly coated with flickering white flames but not bright enough to see except those who are near enough.
The white haired child coated himself with white flames where those white flames served as an armor by extension. He calmly formed brass knuckles out from his white flames to a point it's not fatal. With himself ready to take a hit, he suddenly charged in front of his opponent.
His opponent did the same. Once the distance get close enough for tackling, his opponent readied himself to kick but when he did do, the child disappeared into afterimage. The white haired child reappeared again with a knockout blow aimed near the neck at the moment where one sprung a surprise attack.
With one of them falling to the ground, the one standing removed his mask for recovering his breath from a training suddenly pin his opponent down while the appearing clones made up of flames, formed a formation that gave a guarantee of no escape but sure death if not serious.
Young Percival saw emotions from his opponent's eyes. Those emotions were somehow new to him. Just before he was about to ask a question, a voice startled him.
[Let there be truth coming forth from the Sky King's words, for, I, shall deliver you from darkness!] An unknown voice echoed in the victor's mind, unlocking the sealed flames completely with a bonus of removing the 'unnecessities' and incoming headache purging
What am I doing? I know I am.. Looking up above, he saw a hooded man receiving looks from his companions, trying to do cast a spell or something.
Percival mentally glared at the hooded man. So, that's it. If what I dreamed yesterday is not fake, then what is it?
Indeed, Percival had a dream last night. He knew about the spirits and [Spirit Lords] through knowledge training from this weird place. He knew they were not hoax. In fact, the places he went before, had those marvelous acts beyond nature that only them can invoke it.
"Why did you not kill me? Don't you remember I was trying to prove I am the true [Primo] by killing you?" a question that contain fear startled Percival out from his calm composure. Wait, what?
Regaining his composure immediately,“Yes I am aware of that." Young Percival stared at the viewing room with weary look playing on his feminine face. "Besides, I see no reason to kill you right now. Do you see the ones above there?"
Looking at the pointed direction, the black haired eleven year old got himself slightly shocked inside. He expect himself to die from arrogance and trash talk but instead his opponent gave an advice. What on the spirits going on? Surprisingly, the victor pulled him up gently with a different emotion presented behind those eyes.
"They are treating us like a tools, aren't they? Surely they would kill us for showing emotions now." the question made Percival chuckle a bit. Did just the emotionless white haired assassin whose name he didn't know of laugh as if like it's a joke? Oh, the world must be coming to an end then! He pinched himself. He blinked and saw the amused smile of this guy who within a second put back the 'mask' suddenly.
Keep Calm and Carry On. The Sky King told me through the visions last night. Have faith from what I am about to do. We’ll make it out alive.
The black haired boy blinked at the 'emotionless' figure's voice inside him. It's a common spell used by the military. What does he mean by have faith? Is it trust? A sudden realization came like a lightning hitting the grass field.
"Don't tell me you are indeed Pri-.." Percival 'knocked' out his opponent with a blow aimed at the stomach while he muttered some words of assurance to his opponent's ears.
With the deed done, the white haired boy face towards the observers above for reactions. He mentally narrowed his eyes upon seeing horrified blonde man and he knew why.
One hour later, Young Percival find himself sleeping in a room made up of reinforced steel that practically screamed "This room is a human-size safe vault!".
What a strange architect. The room itself is prepared for all kinds of events like invasions, earthquakes, and fire.
He even wondered why the architect would make something like this. Oh well, he settled for sleep since he does not want to waste time thinking wasteful questions regarding the room itself.
At least, that's what he thought.
Ugh, stupid headache. I hope that he’ll live from this
